Details for Campers

  • Monday, Wednesday, and Friday will be WATER DAYS: please have your child bring a swimsuit, towel, and shoes that can get wet. 
  • Tuesday and Thursday we will WALK TO THE CREEK: please have your child dress to be out in the sun with comfortable shoes, a hat, and sunglasses if they like them!
  • Sunscreen: please apply sunscreen to your child before they arrive, and pack a tube of sunscreen labeled with their name. Joyce will not provide sunscreen for children.
  • Snack & Lunch: Children who attend the AM session need to bring a snack. Children who attend the PM session will need to bring enough food for two snacks and a lunch.
  • Please arrive between 8-8:30 each day. If you are going to arrive late, please contact Joyce to let us know.
  • For Hiawatha camp, park alongside the west side of the building near door C and for Park Ave camp, park in the west parking lot of Park Avenue Methodist Church near the entry doors. We will be utilizing curbside drop off in order to continue with COVID symptom and temperature screenings. Your camp teacher will meet students and bring them in to camp.
  • Masks are required inside for camp participants.
