Joyce’s annual family celebration, Holiday Fiesta, was filled with fun, games, and lots of family time.
This was our second year at Windom Dual Immersion Elementary, and we’re so grateful for the use of their space — the media center served as the hub for our musical and dance performances; the kitchen was filled with the delicious smells of tacos, tostadas, pizza, and colada morada; and games and crafts filled the rest!
Dance groups from Windom Elementary were guest performers, and wowed the audience! We also listened to our preschoolers sing.
Our bake sale was a great success! Thanks to the many generous families that gave cakes, cookies, cupcakes, loaves of bread, and more — much of which was scarfed down as dessert by ravenous preschoolers after their lunch!
Santa stopped by too, and spent some time listening to whatever our preschoolers wanted to tell him! (They always have lots of thoughts about everything, especially potential presents — it’s a good thing Santa is a great listener!)
Thanks to all the families who came and celebrated the holiday season with us. We can’t wait to do it again next year!
