The sixth annual Vino.Arte.Comunidad. was one of our most fun events to date! With over 200 guests and a great host of sponsors, it was a night to remember.

The cold weather didn’t keep our guests from enjoying themselves, and everyone was thankful for a brief respite from the snow! It was our second year hosting at neighborhood venue FIVE Event Center.

The evening began with a Private Tasting, sponsored by KNOCK, Inc. Guests were taken on virtual tour of Argentina by local wine enthusiast Erin Ungerman, sampling wines from a variety of winemakers throughout the country. Tasters celebrated the beginning of the evening with a sparkling rosé, and also sampled a white and several reds. The tasting was hosted with support from Café Ena and Elevated Beer + Wine + Spirits.

The downstairs area was packed by the time the main event officially started at 7 p.m. — Mangria was featured at the downstairs bar this year courtesy of Vine Line Distribution, and guests sampled it over macerated fruit. As always, a selection of Spanish reds and whites stocked the bar.

Art covered the walls, and provided a beautiful, rich backdrop for the evening. Our featured artist this year was John R. Adamiak, a photographer whose breathtaking photos are both airy and emotional. Past titans returned to awe as well; works from Dougie Padilla, Gustavo Lira, Jonathan Aller, Savita Bettaglio, Luis Fitch, and Cristian Hamlet adorned the room.

Our silent and live auctions were fun, and contributed to the night’s overall success — we raised more than $25,000 for scholarships for preschoolers!
