Our featured artist for Vino.Arte.Comunidad. 2012 was Cristian Hamlet,

Cristian Hamlet's formation as an artist began very early in his life in the Amazon, molding glyphs and subtle colors in his work. The strength of this bond continued to influence him as he learned from the community's wisdom, the simplicity of their vision and their view of life.
In addition to his affection for art and culture, Cristian has created an affinity for ecological, architectural, scientific and technological themes -- themes he incorporates in both his professional and his personal work.
Cristian is an artist of many dimensions, an individual of many facets, a seeker of meaning, an explorer of oneself and of creating the world, inspired by the Amazonian home that sheltered and nurtured him.
His works, full of color and light, are always created around a concept, where interest, enthusiasm and humor are the constants.

Cristian has worked in interior design, visual arts and molding.
