Joyce Preschool has provided quality early education to children and families for over 45 years. Our innovative, research-based approach to education emphasizes serving the whole family, and is proven successful: 100% of our graduates last year were assessed as kindergarten-ready, compared to a 70% average readiness rate in Minneapolis (Minneapolis Public Schools, 2011).
In addition to kindergarten readiness, Joyce's programs focus on second language acquisition, parent involvement, and development in early literacy skills.
Joyce operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
We offer Preschool Classes, Parent-Child Classes, Summer Camp sessions and our Asociación de Padres de Familia, a group for Latino parents. Read more »
Children ages 3 – 8 will explore Spanish language and Latin American culture through different weekly themes. Participants will learn traditional songs, games and dance, and enjoy arts and crafts. Campers end the week with a celebratory Friday Fiesta!
Our annual summer camps are led by Spanish-speakers experienced in early childhood. The camps are popular with current families and graduates, and also open to the general public.
