Joyce turns 50!
During the 2016-17 school year, Joyce is celebrating its 50th Anniversary!
What an amazing journey: 50 years ago, a group of amazing, visionary women started a nursery program serving only 12 kids. Today, Joyce provides bilingual preschool to over 100 children each year, develops our parents’ skills as leaders, and anchors hundreds of families in our community.
We have so many reasons to celebrate, and lots of things planned! We invite all members of our community — current, past, or just interested in our program — to join us for these events and to share stories and moments from their years at Joyce.
Here’s to 50 more years!
For details on the benefits of showcasing your support of early childhood education in our community, please contact Development & Communications Director Elissa Schufman at firstname.lastname@example.org or (612) 823-2447 x 106.
Share your Joyce story
Joyce is collecting stories big and small — moments of joy, favorite lessons and the process of learning them, experiences, “a-ha!” moments, and the sagas of families on their educational journeys. Moments from today, or from forty years ago. As we continue to change, we want to lift up and honor the history that got us here. Click here to share your story!

Joyce wouldn’t be where it is today without the early leaders, visionaries, and steadfast supporters who recognized and invested in the potential of Joyce’s program. In April 2017, we will gather to recognize their contributions and reflect on the direction and role of early childhood education today, as well as look back on its impact over the last 50 years.
